Time management...

I was on a brief unannounced vacation from my blogs for a couple of months. Multitude reasons for this. Busy at work, holiday season, personal commitments and I was gifted a new Canon 30D for Christmas. It was hard to put that sucker down for almost a month. A separate post on that will be coming shortly. During this period, I did not have time to even catch up on fellow bloggers blogs. This really begs the question if my time management over the past couple of months was very unusual.
Thinking back I am unable to comprehend how the time went by and what was I doing with my time. I was given a lecture about my time management by my better half and how I should improve on it. I somehow felt that I had very limited time in my hands to work with. Was that because of the cold winter this time or was I really that busy. My days have shortened for sure and I am having at least 2 hours less in my hands to work with. My social life seems to have taken a 180 degrees turn, thanks to my wife. The more I think about it, the more I feel that I need better time management.
For a change, I have decided not to take any new year resolutions this year. The past ones have not been very successful and this year I can blame it on my time management. I am trying to keep up with the technology news by subscribing to various feeds on my Google Reader and also sharing them on my blog those that I find interesting. I have also been wanting to start a technology blog for a while now and now that I have my Canon 30D, I also wanted to start a photo blog. Thus goes my list of to-do things for this year. I am looking forward to an interesting year ahead and it feels good to be back in the blogsphere.
